Chris Kohler reports that a Tsutaya store in Shibuya, Japan had an original used DS Phat on display which looked like it had taken a quite a beating. See for yourself..

The little white note to the left reads: No box, No instruction manual, No stylus, No strap, No AC adapter, Scratches on case, and numerous Scratches on screen. And this is in a glass case, on feature display in the store. It only gets better, the thing is selling for a whopping Ten thousand yen (equivalent of $100 US dollars). Just goes to show you how popular of a commodity the Nintendo DS is in Japan. DS units are so sought after in Japan, that I have little doubt this thing isn't already off the shelves by now.
