Surprise Rumor: Final Fantasy IV Remake Heading to DS

Following hot on the heels of the recent PSP Final Fantasy Dissidia announcement is a rumor suggesting that a remake of Final Fantasy IV is headed to the Nintendo DS. A Japanese blog (http://ff13vids.jugem.jp/) states that FFIV DS development is already underway and it will be in full 3D, just like Final Fantasy III for the DS.

If this is true (likely it is, given FFIII's success on the DS), it's definitely big news. Final Fantasy IV is hailed by many fans to be one of the greatest games in the series. Released on the SNES, it set the standard for RPG games to come, with it's great graphics and captivating storyline.

With Square-Enix's big party event launching this weekend, we should get a confirmation on this remake very soon. That is, if the rumor pans out.

i didn't like 4.....at all......6 would make for a better game....perhaps using the engine that they made for 3.....obviously it would need modifyed for a lot but it would be nice i think :)
