Activision announced today that they will once again reinvent the Tony Hawk series with the release of Tony Hawk's Proving Ground for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS, and you guessed it - Sony's old black box, the PlayStation 2.
Neversoft pres Joel Jewett says Proving Ground will drop players into the skateboarding world like never before. You can define your own style, produce your own videos, and even take it further by tricking out your own Skate Lounge, where you can hang out and skate with others online.
Players will find themselves busting ollies and grinds on the proving grounds from Philadelphia and Baltimore to Washington, D.C. Proving Ground also builds on Project 8's signature Nail the Trick with all new-moves such as Nail the Grab and Nail the Manual.
Tony Hawk's Proving Ground is scheduled for release later this year.
