If you ever want to know if the pc game you want to buy is able to play on your computer go to this site. It is very good if you're not sure if your pc or laptop is able to handle it.

I've seen this before, it's decent, but not that great, alotta times it's stupid. Like if I can run "Titan Quest" it claims all is good but my video card... Yet on every catergory IN the video card part it passes completely. Pretty good if ya don't know much 'bout comps, though.

you need vista to run Halo 2 because Halo uses DX10 which is vista only, this is microsoft's way of telling you to upgrade to vista xD but I'm ok in XP, it's more stable, faster and more secure ^^

i didnt know halo used dx10 lol. I havent had anyproblems with vista except there were no drivers for my wireless fora while but that was fixed. I actually like vista i think it runs great and ive never had it crash. The performance for games is a little slower but its no big deal. Maybe im just lucky or its a ticking time bomb lol.

No, it'll just be sometime that you're doing something important, and WHOOP, FREEZE! Or "This program is incompatible with Windows Vista". Or something like that.

what virus i use nod32 and it works like a charm. You prob use alot more programs then me though lol. I just surf the internet, mess with photoshop even though i suck, and play games thats about it. THats prob why ive had no problems. However i forgot to mention i did have a bad problem with my keyboard the drivers were incompatible with ati's and it messed everything to all hell, but they got a fix for it and then i reinstalled and it all worked well. I support it for now untill i have a problem but i am gonna mess with linux for a bit never really used it before.

Well in my PC I work with all sorts of things...arts for my PSP, Arts for my desktop, Music, video, video edition, gaming, programming...everything
XP so I do a lot XD
About antivirus... I use Avira Antivir, it's free and does it's job (very well I must add)
(about the driver incompatibility.... WINDOWS XP FOR THE WIN!! :D:D)
And...If you are going to linux with an ATI Graphics card....forget it...because linux doesn't "like" ati, but it loves nvidia =D

yeah i herd that but i dont want to do anything fancy, i was looking at just installing i think its called debbian my freind said not sure about the spelling. I kinda just wanted to see what it was like. He said some of the coold graphics features are really hard to get to work on ati cards but the basics work fine.

Yah dude, like, no matter what kind you need you can pick up some cheap RAM from Newegg.com for usually 40-50 bucks per 1GB. It'll have sub-par timings and latency 'n' such, but it'll still GREATLY help- The other day I went from 512 to 1.5GB and it is SUCH an improvement, I tell ya what.
