i bought a psp in taiwan, and the box said it's from japan, and i was wondering if i could play game from other regions, like north america, etc?

cause then if i can then i can make my sister give me one for my birthday!!!

the games for PSP are region free so you can play any game from anywhere in the world.the UMD movies however are region locked.
