Hey guys. Am new to this forum, and thought I'd give downgrading a try. I'm sure you've seen plenty of posts like this, but cant find an explanation to what's happened during the process...
I've been trying to downgrade a 2.71 firmware, and I odnt have a TA-082 motherboard. I've been using the downgrader from dcemu that runs like a windows xp instruction box, as I'd thought it would be fool proof (first mistake). Basically, after loading the files onto the psp I tried to access the photo menu, expecting the screen to go red - it didnt. First time it flashed blue, then shut itself down. So i thought, ok, some people have to try a few times. Then I went back to the photo icon, and its froze. No buttons work apart from the screen brightness - that still changes. The time has remained the same for 10 mins now and nowt has changed. Any advice at all, or is it bricked like I think it is? Any knights in shining armour? Thanks for your time.
Oh, and one more thing - it refuses to even turn off now! But if i take the power cord in and out, the system recognises the difference as the LED changes from green to red!
