PSP 3.40oeA . I cant play UMDS HELP!!!!!

hi , i have my PSP with the firmware 3.40oeA and im tryng to play UMDS on my psp , i can play games from my memory stick tho.

whenever i insert a UMD it says " the game could not be started 80020148"

i read somewhere to go to recovery mode wich i did, but when i go to configuration nothing appears , its just the blue creen and then my PSP restarts .

i dunno what to do ! , cuz i have many umds that i wanna play hehehehe,,,,

should i downgrade to 1.5 and then reinstall the 3.40 oeA version ? if that , how can i do that ?
