Resident Evil 2 - POPS Police Station

I know that this is a world wide problem but does anyone know why it freezes and is there anyway to get a save after you enter the police station?

Just got TR1 to work, tried RE2 but it still freezes...:sad:

I'm pretty sure a thread was already opened with this topic but here it is again. You must use a certain game ID not the one you have. I don't know what it is or where to find it but I read about it on these forums so do some searching and I'm almost certain your problems will be solved. Also I think there is a way to switch saves from memory stick saves files to new ones but I don't know how to do that either.

If you change the Resident Evil 2 Slus code to : (SLPS-01222) it will no longer freeze at the police station and sound errors are fixed
