Should they be only for medicinal purposes? Should they be legally sold on a Pharmacy? Should people be trusted with them?
ok...GO!

It depends on which kind of drugs. I'm guessing you're talking about products like Mj (I don't know how to spell it).
Drugs that currently are not legal are illegal for a reason, and they should stay that way. I personally don't think drugs like Mj have any medically redeeming qualities. Just look at Ozzy Osbourne, he stuck his head in the flower bad (so to speak) countless times and the only reason why he's even alive today is because of his wife (constantly) pulling his head out of the (so to speak) flower bag. The guy can't think or even speak straight, he's on the verge of becoming a vegetable.
I will wait for someone to head butt my opinion. :P

well, assuming that you are talking about the illegal variety then i have to disagree with their use completely since i am straightedge.even legal drugs such as alcohol have terrible effects.i should know working in a bar.
also, around where i live, illegal drug use is prolific.even my mum and my sister smoke cannabis on a semi regular basis.
really,i feel that no drug should be used to alter your perception of reality at all.no matter what the excuse.

Pre-freakin'-cisely. Drug use is very prominent around where I live as well, I guess it's like that anywhere- it's just whether you choose to accept that fact as reality. I believe anything conscience-altering is wrong, although I won't look down on somebody that does it- it's their choice. However, I WILL look down on somebody that uses the drugs and it's greatly affected/destroyed their life, because stuff like that is inexcusable. I just don't personally feel the drugs are necessary to "deal with life" or to "deal with stress". Do what all the rest of us do- GROW UP. The only thing I've done as far as drugs/alcohol is drink a couple times, and both were overall disappointments. But I didn't do it because I need to or anything, and I didn't make any excuses- I drank because I wanted to see what it was like to drink, plain and simple.
Alcohol, oh goddamn alcohol. I don't see what the big deal is with it. Everyone in High School was all "Oh, let's go drink this weekend at a party!" Yea, that's really cool, so that way we can all have an altered conscience, have unprotected sex and other regrettable acts, and then end the night with car wrecks on the way home? AWESOME. Plus, I'm quite a big individual, it takes alot to get me even buzzed, and by that time it's not even worth it, slugging back nasty-ass beverages to get an ever-so-slight feeling of euphoria. I've only every been drunk once, and it's not worth it. I'll probably never do it again.
Now it comes to Pot. To be honest, I'm going to make the typical stoner argument, even though I've never smoked any in my life- I think it should be legal, alcohol should not. Mary J does so much less than alcohol, and the side effects of Weed are about the same as alcohol. Yes, it does fry your braincells, but so does alcohol. What happens when you smoke MJ? You get happy, hungry, and giggle; Generally unresponsive, and lazy. Like I say, I have never personally smoked it myself, have been offered it many times but declined, and I regret nothing, but I think I would rather try that than drinking again.
The really bad drug around here now is Meth. Marijuana is still quite everywhere, but Meth is very, very bad- One smoke or whatever and you're hooked. Plus, it's not hard to make around in the boondocks where everything's unmonitored and the supplies are in large quantity. It ruins people's brains, QUICKLY, someone who smokes the stuff for just a year or two is broke, sold all of their stuff, usually living house-to-house, and has the aforementioned Ozzy stupor. It's terrible. So the people start to make it themselves- and the process is very volatile, explosions are frequent, and the pollutants caused by the process can literally fry your brain.
I can't speak on Coke or eX because I've never been around those/people who do those.

drugs , ie coke heroin meth are horrible. Cannibis, or marijuana isnt technically a drug given its not addicitve physically. though an arguement can be made that it is psycologicaly addictive. It was made illegal to prosecute the minorities that used it at the time. Smoking pot as its called is less destructive then drinking on the weekends. pot doesnt lead to crimes .... pot doesnt lead to mental breakdowns. It can also be used as a medical agent to stimulate hunger. Other then that i totally agree drugs are illegal for a reason.
