M33 made update with an alternative.
You go to *name* forum, you bye bye.

Okay I'll start. (sorry for double postin though)
well I'll keep things simple.
I go with Inhuman.
If you want to revenge but effects people that's innocent, then don't even bother do it.
The End XD
M33 is getting a bit too selfish.

Yeah I'd say it's perfectly acceptable.
After all, M33 clearly tell users that the update will brick if the program is modified.
It's not M33's fault if that site hex edits the EBOOT and removes all readme files, effectively turning the update into a bricker. And doesn't warn their visitors at all.
Basically *any* program that writes to the flash can easily be hex edited into a bricker. If you modify the original file, its authors are not responsible anymore, only you are.

i thought that it would brick your PSP if you had an homebrew app by a developer M33 doesn't approve of. didn't know the bricker version was created by a third party. if that is the case then your right.

nope there's no protection like that. That site edited the EBOOT thereby turning it into a bricker and posted it on their main page. Then people who were posting they bricked got banned and the posts were edited to make it seem like they upgraded fine.
Very lame, and I don't like that some people are blaming M33 for the bricks  Hopefully this will all blow over soon and that site gets shut down (wishful thinking though).

Holy god, how could they do that. This is really bad. We should start some kind of campaign to shut the site down
