Worst programming language?

ok,i havent messed about with many so far but i have to say i really do NOT like VB.its not that its frustrating or anything, it just seems so.....basic.....it's made so even a kid could call himself a programmer....i suppose thats a bit of elitism on my part but i really prefer working in C....what about everyone else?

Well I really like C. I've only done the tuts from DC on VB6 so I havent really got the feel for it yet. *hint towards DC to make another one*. I used to LUA and it wasn't bad although its more a scripting language.

XD BASIC! It's terrible. You didn't say the era from whenst the language had to come. Also, I think it's anonymous that Pascal blows.

But, honestly, MI, that's a little harsh on VB6- sure, it's easy to get ahold of, and grasp the very basics, but to make anything even semi-not-crappy-looking you have to be pretty damn good with it, very experienced 'n' such.

ok,i admit,i was being harsh on VB.and i apoligise to anyone who took offence.in particular Darkchild.

btw,VB is basically BASIC,just done up pretty like a MS whore....lmao.

and for anyone who wants to know what this stemmed from,i posted this while sitting in a class of idiots who were like "OMGZOR,I GOTZ TEH BACKGROUND TO CHANGE A COLOUR!"....rather annoying...

also the teacher was asking to comment every line in a program with only like 4 functions.... :(

Pascal. arrrgghh. tried it before.
C/C++ and VB is kewl.
Has anyone heard Matlab? you can't really say it's programming language, but comparing to C, it's much easier. too bad it's for computers only.

Yeah Matlab is an IDE... used it in a programming class before.

Anyway, I think the worst programming language is Java. Though it does have benefits like cross compatibility... overall it is very slow compared to C++.

Java and VB.....their the two languages that the course i am on are teaching....bleh....thank god for the psp :D
