Hey , I have some .MOV files that I want to view , (Gears of war pwnage) >_> is there any program that plays and converts them in .AVI or whatever ?

Well this will play them and to convert hem theres various free online video converters just type free video converter into google and you shold get sites which do it. Anyways quicktime plays .mov files heres the link http://www.tucows.com/preview/195040

Didn't I need a decent editor , windows movie maker isnt to stable ;p

I just use VLC

it supports like every video format out there. The player is lightweight too, and works on Windows / Linux.

Wupps shoulda metioned that its what i use too just about any file i have just drag and drop on vlc.

Is there a program like windows movie maker ? something easy to use , Windows movie maker always freezes >_>

Theres lots of editors I could give you but most have a watermark on them when the videos done so yea its up to you.

EDIT : by watermark do you mean "buy this for 29.99 to remove this nag"

No I mean of the two I've tried pay (saiid amount of money) to remove either a light overlay over whole screen or a giant "buy full retail copy to remove this at the top of the screen". But if you want ill find them for you also you could try seacrhing google just type video editing freeware there are free ones but usually arent as good.
