PSP WiFi Speed?

i wonder about psp wifi max speed i tough it was 11Mbps 802.11b standart, but the max bandwith i`m getting is -100KBps+ (1Mbps or close) with 95%+ signal transfering from psp-ftpd, does any one have some advise on this?

seems normal.. PSP does have a maximum of 11mbps but it just doesn't even go near that speed. If you've noticed the web browser is also quite slow.

The bottle neck isn"t the network "card" is it ? I figured it was more the read write speed from and too ms,, and the reletivly small proccesor doing so much already. Or is there perhaps ways to improve it, like tweeking your cable ?
