AMD Althon X2 Dual Core 5000+
2GB DDR2 RAM
22" Samsung LCD
Nvidia 8600 GT
250 GB HD

It's nice... Crysis runs smooth at medium settings :) Could've gotten a better video card (8800GT) but I went mid range since Nvidia will probably release the 9xxx series cards within the next few months.

hmm....i dunno...with a good setup i would be using a linux distro...probally ubuntu...and ATI support ain't that good with linux so nvidia is tempting for me....in the process of building a mid-range system myself, have a AMD Athlon 64X2 4300+ set aside for it so far but need money to get the rest....lol.ah well.

I would use Linux, but its not good for newer games.

Not because they are closed source, but because EVery *nix OS I put isn't compatible with my !"#$%!"#ing card! :D
