Hi, guys.

I've just installed Ubuntu on my PC and it is already giving me problems.
I'm trying to compile some stuff and i want to copy them to /usr/local/src but it doesn't let me copy anything to the usr folder (and subfolders), it says that I have no permissions to do that so...thats the question:How can I fix this? I'm pretty sure I am the admnistrador.

I think you have to sign in as root. To do thi there is some option to allow root to sign in at login screen. Once done, sign into root and then copy stuff.

I also think that there is some kinda thing called sudo that gives admin rights to any user. But Im noy a linux guy so sorry if this is of no help
