hi i have just upgraded 3.10oe-a and i put the game in the iso folder but when it goes to load the game. i get errors it says the game could not be startes (80020321)

i am a noobie

any clues?

there are many possibilities.

you need plain modules in the recovery mode to be turned on or off. some games will work with it, others may not.

turn off no-umd in recovery.

to get into recovery mode hold R during bootup.

every thing is set to disabled and the fold is 1.5 and still the same

I deletes some corupt files and activated the flash player and it seams to load, tryed loading one game, but is gets stuck 3/4 through loading. so i am trying a different game

I had the same problem i guarantee it's because you don't have a legit game in your psp when you're trying to load an .iso. KTHX:p

I upgraded to 310 oe-a yesterday (2.01 down to 1.5 and then up from there) following instructions posted by x3sphere, they worked great - thanks.

I have several ISO's on my memory stick, some of them load and some don't. GTA:VCS for example goes to blank screen, pressing HOME gets me out of it. Ridge Racer gets stuck on the LOADING.... screen, I need to power off to get out of this.

Use NO-UMD = enabled
Plain modules in UMD/ISO = enabled (I have the same problem if disabled)

Games that do load - Medal Of Honour, World Series Poker, Tiger W PGA Tour, Need For Speed UR - therefore I assume my folders are ok.

Any and all advice welcome.

Hope this post isn't too noob, unlike me.....

Disable no-umd, should solve your problems.

Disabled NO-UMD and put a UMD in (Everybodys Golf), then tried GTA:VCS and it worked.

Hi

I've just upgraded to 3.03 oe-c, and already i've found a UMD that won't load - Need for speed most wanted. Before i upgraded, the static loading screen went dim after a few seconds, and then the opening video started. Now it just goes dim and that's it. Any ideas?

Just to clarify, it gets to the "need for speed most wanted" screen (says loading in bottom right hand corner), then the screen dims, and normally the opening video starts. Except for me it doesn't, it stops there!

UPDATE: GTA liberty city won't load either. Seems to be something to do with video?

yes done that. no joy. guy on psph101 said i need to reflash with same fw again. In what sequence will i do that?

install 3.10 OE-A here -

the latest OE has some bugfixes for these kind of errors, so it will probably solve your problem.

That sorted it, sweet as a nut now! I really didn't wanna go past 3.03oe, not bein able to d/g etc, and the reported bugs on it. Sod it tho, i haven't noticed any yet!

hi all,

i have thoroughly read through this whole thread several times now and have tried all the different ways in which you have kindly advised all that have had issues,

i started out with a 2.81 original firm ware and accidentally upgraded to a sony 3.03 because of the gta vcs game it came with, got my hands on a umd gta lcs with the 2.0 update and wound it back to 1.5 with dark alexs genius software, i also bought a moody 4gb sony pro duo chip and struggled with games music movies, everything basically. ive now bought a geniune san disk 4gb and have had no probs with anything being corrupt as it had been b4, but i am having some issues with eboot.pbp none of which will load at all they usually return this code 80010002,
also with certain ISO's which usually return this code: 80020321 and there was another code i got to but didnt write it down at the time but is simular to /\ that!

ok to let you know what i have tried due to reading through this thread
NO-UMD enabled and disabled, nothing works when disabled and some when enabled,
ive disabled and enabled plain modules aswell, all that does work only when disabled as you state
i always get a dimley lit black screen when i disable no UMD which i have to cold boot it to get back on
my memo stick was formatted from the 3.10oea firmware as it was done recently
i have updated with the 3.10OE-A2 update too,
not all is to be bad as there is a fair amount of homebrew i am able to play so im very grateful for that and thank all those for putting it out there for us,
but its is a bit of a lottery for me to chose from the games available as i never know if itll load or not and tbh there is a fair bit of stuff i cant get to load that i really want too lol 1 particularly is destruction derby rofl ;) god reminds me of old times, so if there is anything else someone knows i might be able to do to get eboots to load and fix the iso probs id be very gratefull
