what is the difference between r4 and m3?

Not much. They are made in the same place by different teams, but the teams share their info. ATM I think M3 Real is the best thing out, but I'm not entirely sure.

all I know is:
between R4 and M3 Simply, the only difference is a mere circuit, that aside, they are completely alike and their "Firmwares" can be converted to work with the other <3

M3 Real can run GBA mode brew right out of NDS mode.
