How to install FW 3.10 OE from 2.50

My PSP currently runs firmware 2.50

I'd like to run 3.10 OE R2 found here: http://forums.exophase.com/showthread.php?t=434

How am I best going about achieving this?

I can't seem to find a guide that doesn't require GTA Liberty City Stories, which I don't have.

Also, apparently you need an "unpatched" version of the game, how would I establish that?

Finally, I have a PC, and a USB cable, is it possible I could do it that way?

your only at 2.5 that means go up to 2.8 and then use noobz downgrader.... to 1.5.

Check if you have a ta-082 mobo. if you do there are extra steps. B4 U DOWN GRADE

only need gta ics for 2.81 and up
