You guys are so generally helpful that I'm hoping someone here will be able to tell me what's going on. :-/

I've been playing Oblivion lately, and here's my problem. My max HP is somewhere in the 300 range. But the game will not allow me to heal past about 250, which it seems to consider my 'real' max HP. Spells, potions, resting...nothing works. If I go below the 250ish number, I can heal back up to it, but my character stats clearly show the higher number as my max, and the length of the bar is for the higher number, too.

I don't have any spells effecting me that could be doing this, and even removing all of my equipment to totally wipe the active effects list does nothing. I have about a billion mods installed, BUT this problem just cropped up--I am smart enough to conclude that a mod I added at the same time caused the weird thing. I haven't added any mods recently.

The only mod I have that alters my HP is Kobu's leveling mod, which recalculates HP based on 10% of your endurance times your level (instead of 10% of your current endurance added to your HP at level-up), and I've been using it for months and months without this issue.

If anyone has a way to fix this, I'd really appreciate it. Is there a way to use the console to edit your max or current HP? Anything?

I'm sure there's a way to edit it with the console, just keep lookin'. Sorry I'm not much help, but I play on X360, I don't have a good enough comp to run it.

I did eventually find a way to edit my max HP with the console (player.setAV health X), but that didn't fix the problem. My numbers just got more bizarre (and totally unrelated to whatever I set my health to be). Eventually, someone pointed me in the direction of a stat fixing mod, and that solved my problem.

Thanks anyway. :)
