Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops DAX

Ok, here's the deal. I downloaded the full MGS:PO iso from mypsportal.com, and I can't get it to work. I downloaded 3 other isos from there that worked fine, so it's kind of annoying. I don't have a big enough memory stick to fit the full iso on, so I used Dark_Alex's DAX compression utility to compress it. First, I used all the default settings, and it wouldn't load in the DAX loader. Then, I tried redoing it with that option to not compress videos turned off, and it still wouldn't load. UMD spins for a while, and then it just freezes. I've tried every emulation option in the loader and it still won't work. What can I do? Does devhook work with DAX ISOs? I'm using firmware 3.03C

i have done that obviously but it still doesnt work.. and have tried to completely different MGS releases and both have the same problem:

i get to the main menu, press any option and is goes back to "PRESS START", and in circles like that.

plz help someone.

Ah, I see, thanks for the info. I'll give it a shot. I'm glad you told me that before I started backing up my friends' games in DAX format :)
