restore default settings

heloo, i have this problem when i tryied to restore the default settings on my psp. mi firmware was 1.5 and i upgraded into 3.10OE-A but when i tried to retore to default settings my psp just keept on reading and the memory stick just kept on blinking, i can access the recovery menu but my psp wont open after that? is it dead? please help.

Its not dead if you can access recovery.

try booting your PSP without the memory stick in
