I haven't tried it so i don't know what the compatibility's like but irshell can play two player over ad-hoc. Get it HERE (http://forums.exophase.com/showthread.php?t=5432&highlight=irshell).
Then if you have 3.90 M33 use this HERE (http://forums.exophase.com/showthread.php?t=5519&highlight=irshell) to patch irshell to work on 3.90.
