So, I have these videos in .avi format which I want to put into a DVD. I converted these .avi to .vob (the proper format, am i right?) and put those files on a blank DVD into the video_ts or whatever it is. it all works fine until I put the DVD in the player, I get bad audio quality and a choppy screen.

note*-The .avi's work just fine on the computer.
-I'm using ImToo Mpeg Encoder 3.
-NTI CD & DVD-Maker 7
-Can use either XP or Vista if I need to.

Could it be that I chose the wrong settings when converting? Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.
