US Ps3, Europe games?

Hi, I wanted to ask if the US Ps3 is able to play Europe games.

It works too, but you need to make sure you have the right TV (japan=ntsc)

Alright, so no Japan Ps3 for me.

Oh wait, I think you got it wrong. All the PS3 work with any TV. The games are the ones that depend on the kind of TV.
NTSC=Japan and USA games (will work in PAL TVs, but you'll see everything in black and white.
PAL=EURO (will work on PAL and NTSC TVs)

Which means there's no problem if I got my console from Japan or US and use Europe games? ( on PAL TV)
