The Samsung Series 6 is an excellent choice. I too would recommend staying clear of the Sony's, especially the L series (which is worse than the V or W series'). With 1080p and 100hz with 24p the Samsung series is the one to buy. I don't think you'll find better in this price range.
Here's my new setup:
What you can't see in the picture is my laptop underneath the desk, which is what the TV is displaying. Got the TV back in late December in the sales and loving it :D. 32" 1080p screen, looks great on the PS3 and even better connected through my laptop.
I agree with most of the original post.
Phil hit the nail on the head there, its horrible!
Only one I would really disagree with is the clubbing every week thing, since I go clubbing 2-3 times per week as a university student. What I would say is the difference between going clubbing and...
Got a slight problem with my PS3 signing me out of PSN, only when I play a game. Now, surely this isn't a problem with the router because if i leave the PS3 on the XMB or do some web surfing on the PS3 it'll leave me signed in all day. However about 30 seconds after I launch a game, I get signed...
I have a Seagate Freeagent for almost a year now and it's been great Its pretty quiet, the software that comes with it isn't intrusive, plus it comes with a 5 year guarantee.
Yeah, depending on who you get it is better. My store in oxford got 97% accuracy, which is pretty good for the amount of products we have. Compare to my hometown which got around 70%.
They use the same ticketing system as us at Currys and it is awful. Price tickets are often wrong when they are updated. I wish they would just let us write our own price tickets. Stupid office monkeys saying a Blu ray player is just a DVD player, getting Plasma and LCd confused etc. They need...
Currys Dixons PC World haven't upped their prices to compensate yet, I know because I have to personally remember to manually discount the price. Which I don't always remember to do, leaving about 30% of my customers walking out without the discount lol.
Currys, Dixons, PC World, Pixmania started it the day after it was announced.
I would like to think people wouldn't trample an employee to death just to save a few
Foxit Reader is amazing, and you don't even have to install it. You have have it simply run live.
Also here is something I posted on QJ which I have just copied over to MfM in regards to speeding up XP. Although If you have TinyXP all of these options may have been performed anyway.
It's not always wise to upgrade your hardware every time you feel your computer is getting slow. In face, according to my opinion Microsoft operating systems have a tendency to slow computer sown when you have a lop of programs installed. In this tutorial I will tell you some easy tricks to...
Living in the UK I see no need for personal firearms. If i want safety I'll get a home security alarm and employ someone to monitor it, and if i have enough money I'll employ security. I see no need in personal firearms as the likelihood of somebody breaking into my home with a firearms is so...
Now time for an update. After tonight I have been drinking Becks, Double Vodka + Energy (cheap Red Bull) and WKD. I had Vodka Red bull and I hate WKD. Damn student nights. Turning me into a raging alcoholic. Without the rage.
