Here's an EP I released yesterday under a project called Dentalworks! It's some electronic stuff I've been doing over the past year and a half. You can download it for free, or purchase it if you like it enough: http://dentalworks.bandcamp.com/
There's a lot of servers out there that you can easily find through the Minecraft Wiki or other forums.
Resetting is done when new terrain features are introduced. Old maps wouldn't get them if we didn't reset. Since the game's been officially released now though, we probably won't reset too...
There's been no signs of griefing as far as I know. But if you ever encounter griefing, please just tell me straight so I can get the problem rectified
It's a problem with the spawning for this map. I spawned correctly on land but apparently people started spawning out there, and I can't always be on teleporting people.
I don't think that's how it works? I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure the portal would appear on top of the nearest corresponding surface. Unless you mean it'd spawn you near the bottom of the Nether, which seems unlikely to me honestly.
In any case the noise really is a problem and it'd just...
The farther side is mine, but one of my friends decided to make the other one right next to mine and link the two.
Also, switchclik, please take down your portal and put it where it'll be quieter. That goes for everyone, it's a bit annoying to have to hear a constant portal sound in your own...
I won't always be on, so if you need teleportation, we'll have to figure that part out.
Additionally, if you spawn in the water, try swimming towards the direction where the sun (or moon) sets.
You're probably too close to spawn if blocks regenerate. And spawning on this map seems to be a bit wonky at the moment, I spawned on land but sometimes it does make you spawn far from the actual map in the middle of the sea. If that happens, I can go on whenever you're on and I'll teleport you...
HP's site is getting a new shipment in soon apparently, sign up for the stock alert and you should be able to get your hands on one.
And for me though the difference isn't huge, it's definitely worth doing the overclock since it's so easy and there doesn't seem to be any consequences. It's at...
You can easily overclock your TouchPad if you want to speed it up. No need for any jailbreaking and the like, here are the instructions: http://www.webosbuzz.com/hp-touchpad/694-how-overclock-hp-touchpad-1-5ghz.html I overclocked mine yesterday or so and battery life hasn't been affected...
Yeah, I got what Seth got.
According to the SlickDeals thread, they never really had much stock to begin with.
On another note, if you find any demo units at RadioShack, you can go ahead and buy them. HP has lifted the account creation ban on demo TouchPads and I'm running mine smoothly.
Oh man, B&N is apparently randomly canceling orders, and I got hit. I was one of the first to buy too, and got several emails saying they approved my order and were getting ready to ship it, but I got the cancellation email this morning...
If you're able to find one and it turns out to be a demo unit, do not buy it, it's useless as demo units cannot sign up for a webOS account. I had to learn this the hard way.
But I might head out tomorrow morning to get a new one at Best Buy now that they're selling off their inventory. I...
