At Microsoft's Xbox 360 RPG Premiere event held in Tokyo today, publisher Square Enix confirmed that Star Ocean 4 is in development for the Xbox 360. Exclusivity has yet to be decided, but producer Yoshinori Yamagishi did note that the game would hit the Xbox 360 first, with a release on PS3 simply a possibility at this point.[blockquote2]We cannot announce anything on that. We can say that it will be released first [on the Xbox 360]. Whether we'll release it on the PS3 is undecided. We may release it, we may not.[/blockquote2]Considering current 360 sales in Japan, a PS3 version is almost inevitable down the road. The game is due out sometime in 2009.
