Square Enix today announced that Final Fantasy IV DS, the re-envisioned remake of 1991's SNES classic, will hit retailers on July 22.

Developed by the same team responsible for bringing Final Fantasy III to the DS, the remake features a refined Active Time Battle system, beautifully rendered CG cutscenes, a remixed musical score composed by Nobuo Uematsu, and top notch voice-overs.
