Activision has released the first high-res screenshots from the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of its current-generation 007 effort, James Bond: Quantum of Solace.

Powered by the Call of Duty 4 engine, Quantum of Solace is slated for a fall 2008 release, likely to coincide with the forthcoming film of the same name.

looks pretty good but any and all james bond games are destined to be compared to goldeneye which many people would be seeing through nostalgia...which is a pity because as a great game as it was,it's aged terribley...now if only the 360 port had come about...
