Yeah it does. If you have something they consider a 'risk' itll pop up in the system status bar and youll be able to take action on it.

Well said. Other than that tho, windows 7 is gazillion times better than vista. I havent run into any problems since i got it a couple of days ago, i even dualbooted with ubuntu 9.04 and its flawless.

well there is Avira its a freeware, then there's avast. both are good for freeware antiviruses.
