360 to go 1080p, HD-DVD player confirmed for Japan
In an official press release, Microsoft has revealed that a software update will enable games and movies to output in 1080p - previously it was thought the PS3 was only capable of doing this. They also confirmed that the HD-DVD player will launch in Japan on November 17th 2006 at a converted price of approximately $170 USD with a universal remote!
