Sony expects profits to surge

We all know PS3 sales are in a slump right now, but neither Sony nor analysts believe this trend will continue in the near future. According to a report in the Nikkei, Sony expects its operating profit of 60 billion yen ($503 million) for 2006/2007 to grow 5 times over the 2007/2008 business year to 400 billion yen ($3.36 billion), with the biggest boost coming from its game division.
