Quite possibly the dumbest psp accesory

lol , was that really you ? Like i said i feel bad but you can totally tell that thing cost like 3 $ to make.

Wonder how your sposed to use the nub? If that was you , you should put a stop payment on it. Its not gonna be worth 50$

LOL on the bright side , the manufacturer claims the plastic bag makes the psp "drop-proof"

quote from the man site
"SeaWalker bag (Beach)

"Waterproof, dust-proof, dirt-proof, sand-proof, and drop-proof "

Now dont get me wrong... but 20,000$ watches dont put water PROOF. Its simply not true. But to claim "drop-proof" is just laughable.

Water pressure at 20 feet alone would shatter the psp screen. not to mention the fact that thing is made out of hard plastic, and its heatwelded. Those type of connections fail .

Hrmmm yeah whyyyyyy would you need that?

In what world do you have the time to play psp under water? I mean damn if your scuba diving why would you bring a psp? shouldnt you be looking out for sharks? hehe
Or skying....shouldn't you be outside skying?
And at the beach..um shouldn't you be doing fun things like swimming playing volley ball and staring at hot chicks?

Also I belive that hard looking plastic at the ends would poke into your hand and irritate you:glare: kinda like the plastic sides of ice pops hurt the sides of your moth if you eat to many  they should have at least fit it to it

ice polls, the beach, hot chicks (best part of the beach) thats going a little off topic.

Exactly , i happen to be a certified scuba diver with about 300 hours logged. And i can tell you "water-proofing cases" must be hard, harder then bullet proof glass. you see water weighs a BUNCH and that flimsy bag would crush under 12-16 feet of water guarenteed... i would be surprised if it took more then 6 or 8 feet of water to compress the psp into rubbish..

These appear to be of moderate quality camera cases (the one i used was 700$) notice the construction, and the price. granted this is for a camera, but i imagine the psp is close to a camera in its needs underwater.

i'd just like to say that i did NOT buy this bag....i was being sarcastic in my first post there... :\

Well, I see a purpose if no one else does... something like this would be good for small kids if you're planning a beach or camping trip. Rather than have your kid ruin a $200 PSP by dropping it in the water at the beach (or lake if camping), you put the PSP in the bag with dire threats if they remove it from the bag. Also, the bag isn't meant to go underwater, just float on top of the water while keeping the PSP from getting wet.

For example: you put the PSP in the bag and give it to little Tommy. Tommy drops it three or four times in the water before finally getting bored with it and leaving in on the beach to go play. The tide rolls it and you wind up having to swim out after the PSP before it gets washed completely out to sea.

I still wouldn't pay more than $10 for it though...

this is AWSOME!!! what if im taking a shower and them im like. hm i want to play my psp. BINGO!

It's usefull for someone like me , I don't mind spending 50$ on a colourful Zip-lock bag , I go to the carribean and I love to swim , I wouldn't mind relaxing in water playing my psp , But thats just my opinion , Sure it's overpriced ..

Most people go to the beach to spend time with friends/family, correct?

If that is true, I have trouble believing that anyone is so antisocial that they need to bring their PSP to the beach with them in the first place. Bringing it with you for the drive to the beach (if you're not driving. :oP) is another story, but actually at the beach? Seriously.

This can also apply to a pool.

and also not to mention the PSP screen is damn near impossible to see outside in the sun.

For sure, even with D_A's 3.10+ OE firmware (the 4th level brightness).
