Hi guys, my sister was messing with my computer and she did something to the start menu. It is now over on the side and is no longer down the bottom of the screen. I know it probably has a simple answer but i'm getting frustrated. Please help.

right click over it and click on "lock the taskbar" if it has a tick beside it.then click and drag the toolbar to the bottom. that should do it.

i do this all the time to put the taskbar at the top of the screen in college since i'm more used to the mac way of things now

It doesn't let me drag it to the bottom. And it isn't locked

... :| weird....thats the way i do it....is there a theme or something installed?...i'd check through the Add/Remove Programs list to see what was recently installed.

No theres no theme installed I don't know what to do. *desperate*

¬.¬ relatives on computers = malware

i'd just try to see if anything was installed recently and also run a anti-virus/spyware scan...

it really should of let you drag it to the bottom if its not locked....


does your taskbar have a line above it like this?



if you can,take a screenshot to see if there's something wrong with it.

haha,its no problem,really.btw you might wanna lock the taskbar to stop your sis doing that again to you
