Speeding up com

Well I find my com getting slower and slower just all around so I was wondering if anyone knows any good software or something to speed it up. I regularly defrag hardrive and disk cleanup, and virus check everything. If I need to be more specific just tell me. And new hardware isnt really an option.

*shakes head* That software doesn't exist, it's not as easy as "Run this program and your computer's speed will increase by 2x!" (but I HAVE heard some commercials like that) Although there ARE a few optimizations, such as auto-unloading DLLs when Windows is done usin' 'em, or RAM managing-software and such. I'd try ASO, Advanced System Optimiser, TweakUI, and X-Setup Pro to tweak various settings and stuff, to make stuff run faster.

i use the trial of tuneup utilities. It is pretty good at leaning up the registry and uneeded files and such. I think it helps things runa bit smoother and it has a memory optimizer.
