Turns out that ESRB listing awhile back was right on the money, id Software announced today that the legendary Quake III Arena is indeed heading to the Xbox Live Arcade.
That's not all the Quake id Software has in store for you. The company also announced Quake Zero for PC. Now, this is not a new Quake title per se, but rather a completely Web-based version of Quake III multiplayer. The best part? It's free. Anyone with an internet connection can just download and play. It will be supported by in-game advertising, however, I don't think most will mind when the game is free.
