Unhappy Help the newbie
Ok, so I had jus got my psp, got online, ane updated to 3.10. Now i have been looking into all the home brew and such. can I do anything with my 3.10 firmware??

Nope, You have to wait for a downgrade which may take some time, or you can buy a new psp, trade yours, or buy one off ebay. Sorry man.

Hi,

* This is my 1st post at this forum

First of all I would like to say thanks very much to everyone that keep helping others at this forum.

I just got a new PSP with System Software Version 2.71

As I read, I must downgrade to Version 1.50 than upgrade to Version 3.10 and after that upgrade to Version 3.10 OE-A

Are this step is correct???

no no, first you must identify if your PSP is a TA-082. check this link if you're not sure http://exophase.com/files/psp/ta082spotls6.jpg

then use either the regular 2.71 downgrader or TA-082 downgrader to downgrade to 1.5. Then you can update to 3.10 OE-A.

I know this is an older thread but I was just making sure I have a TA-082 and above link is either dead or not working for me. I have C1003 on the side away from the latch in my umd driver there for I have a ta-082 right? If I can get more ta-082 FW 2.71, do you think I could make money selling them?

ic1003 (or other similar numbers) = ta-082 or ta-086

Selling psp ? well psp sells in the store for 200$. im sure a working psp with all the stuff it comes with is worth about 150-170 used. (thats what i sold my first one on ebay for). Are ta-082/6 rare or worth more ? no. Since the new idstorage breakthroughs they are however NOT LESS valuable.
