Anyone try to play FF8 on psp

anywho heres the issue

i had my friend convert the game for me... it works fine till u get to boss battles usually.. if 2 wut i call "big" moves happen.. such as the bosses strongest attack and then u draw or 2 high level magics in a row or wutever.. the game will freeze... so i thought it was an issue of the eboot.. so i borrowed the game from my friend and remade the eboot 2 other times... same issue... now ive d/l a premade eboot, same issue!!! i really wanna play the game but its annoyin having to speed beat bosses cause of fear of the game freezing...

does anyone have an idea of y this is happenin? could it be need of a new firmware upgrade? also i might add that ive tried it on 3.00 - 3.11 pops so it cant be that im on 3.10 oe-a'

anyway to answer your question yes I've heard FF8 randomly freezes at times. there is no fix for it other than waiting for Sony to update the emulator. Other games such as RE3 suffer from the same issue aswell :/

oh ok thanx for the reply... i guess im threw with the game for now... that sucks though i wouldve liked to have completed it all at once.. illl probably forget the story by the time a new update comes...
