As if the March NPD sales data wasn't enough to make your head spin, Activision today revealed that its recently released Call of Duty 4 Variety Map Pack has been downloaded over one million times in a span of nine days, setting a new record for the number of paid downloads on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Impressive, most impressive.
On a semi-related note, Activision said that in the first nine days of the map pack's release, Xbox Live members played more than 30 million CoD 4 session and logged more than 30 million hours of pure gameplay.
