Registry changes monitor

Right, everyone knows about the registry in Windows and that installers often change values in it.

All well and good for the developers but if anyone like me want's to make a backup installer using NSIS then I risk screwing up the installer and being left with a non-functioning program.

Not a problem for small stand-alone games (mostly homebrew stuff) since they don't touch the registry but some more complicated stuff it may affect it.

Soooo...I need a program that will sit in the background and monitor any changes to registry values so that well a program is finished installing, I would have a list of registry values that the program affects.

Obviously +rep for whoever finds it

I think Regshot is what your after.
Quote:
Regshot is an open-source(GPL) registry compare utility that allows you to quickly take a snapshot of your registry and then compare it with a second one - done after doing system changes or installing a new software product.
And there's a portable version here.
