I've been wrestling over this one. The only reason i don't goback to 1.5 is my ta-082 and hosed up idstorage. I have dreams at night about irshell. About wifi and all that. But 90 % of what i try doesnt work atm any how. so i get more ease of use from 3.10oe. Majority of what i play are later games, and most homebrew that works runs on 3.1oe. Atleast untill my wifi, ir , are unhosed im stickin with what i have :(

I know this is a nub question but please humor me. I wasnt so fortunate to get into it when they still sold non ta-082.

What can you do other then irshell, that later fw users cant. Push me over the edge and encourage me down the right path. The only people who will answer the question , swear by dax latest fw.
 
Hmm this poll is kinda old lol :p Well at the time there was no 2.71 SE but now I see no reason to stick with 1.5, seeing as you'd be missing out on the PS1 emulator and other features.
 
I think you should add the latest custom firmwares by DAX too :)
I'm currently using 3.03 OE B because I'm a lazy bastard and 3.10 OE B would be released :p
 
mmm im in FW 1.5, and use dh .45 , at this moment i dont need more, i can play at my preferit games, when i need update sure i use the last Dark_AleX release.
