Retro Does the dreamcast play imports?

Dose the dreamcast plays imported games? I wanted start up my dreamcast and import few games from Japan.

I think you need a boot disc. I needed one to play my imported DC games.

It's been while since I've played mine, So I don't know if there is another way to do this or not.

I ditto the bootdisc bit, im not exatcly sure tho, ill ask a buddy of mine who still plays his.

Thanks, hopefully this would be easy. (Hopefully no mod-chip is needed since its a older console)
