Do you already have any plugins installed? If not, then follow these simple steps:

1-copy the folders under MS_ROOT in your memory stick ROOT (which is the main folder not the PSP folder)
2-power up your psp while pressing R
3-Select plugins
4-Press X over cwcheatpops.prx [POPS] it will say ENABLED
5-Press X over cwcheat.prx [GAME] it will say ENABLED
5-Press X over cwcheat.prx [GAME150] it will say ENABLED
6-exit recovery and enjoy

Then when you bring up a game hold select and it will show the CWCheat menu.

Wrong, by root it means the memory stick drive (i.e. H:) not MP_ROOT.

So if your memory stick drive is H: then you'd copy the folder "seplugins" inside of MS_ROOT to H:

i got it working...hwo do i put in the codes...there are so many menu. OH ya...im playin final fantasy 7 on psp.

I think there are already cheats for that game built in. So, in the menu enable cheats and then go to "Select cheats"

Now a cheat list should pop up and you can enable which cheats you want to use here.

That's pretty much it. Now just choose return to game.

To ADD additional cheats, refer to the HOW TO CONVERT PSX AR-GS CODES.txt document that's included in the cwcheat archive. Let me know if you have any questions.

After battles you will always recieve 131,000 EXP

code to ff7 game. How do i do that?

For FF7 it would be like this

_S SCUS_94163
_G Final Fantasy VII
_C0 Experience Up
_L 8009BF70 FFFF

add that to the bottom of cheatpops.db, found in H:/seplugins/cwcheat

btw, you can find a list of serial codes here: http://www.sonyindex.com/Pages/PSone_US_Serial.htm

If you do this for other games make sure you change the _S variable to match the game code.

I did a search on that code, seems it is not working.

Here's a full list of codes that are apparently working. 99M Experience Points might be useful :)

@x3sphere

i followed your initial instructions regarding to CWCheat v0.1.9 Rev D.
after downloading the rar, i placed all the files and folder in h:\MS_ROOT
on the recovery --> plugin
i was able to enable cwcheatpops.prx [POPS] & cwcheat.prx [GAME]
but i cant seem to find cwcheat.prx [GAME150], so i cant tell if its enabled or not
there was a cwcheat.prx [VSH], so i enabled it nwayz
after that, when starting a game (final fantasy VIII), i hold the select button
after the usual warning sign, the screen goes all black (nothing happens)...
what do u think is wrong??
