With the release date for this title a little over a month away, (January 26th) I thought a discussion thread would be in order. There have been about 10 articles written on the game here, but not a place for general discussion to take place.

So I'm just curious as to who has an interest in this story and who will be playing this on release?

Here's come media and info for you.

New Cinematic Trailer Teaser - I'll update with the Full Cinematic Trailer as it becomes available today.

I want this game so bad... I haven't watched a single video for it, because I want to go into his completely fresh to the story... I want nothing spoiled.

I will probably be standing in line for this one. I loved the first one so freaking much.

I really want this game, too. I'm so close to having finished all the acheivements on the first one, just one or two more of the 'Ally' acheivements to do. I was planning to get it for Christmas, but it seemed a little dull to recieve a preorder as a present. I don't know if I'll have the money on the day its released, but I'll definately buy this at some point. It's practically one of my life's ambitions to play this game.

Enjoyed the first one, but never ended up completing it, just sorta lost interest. Second one looks like it's shaping up to be pretty awesome though, and getting Dragon Age, just made me want to go back to the first one for some reason, so Ill probably end up picking up ME2 sometime after launch if not right away. Thanks for all the links in here guys.

I'm trying to replay ME 1 right now on PC, but it's so damn buggy. Crashing galore. They really didn't put much effort into getting this version in order.

They never even got Garrus' face fixed.

I never noticed any glaring bugs or crashes for that matter in the PC version.. it ran fine for me. BioWare games are well optimized for PC from my experience.

Well, ME 1 on my PC had weird random stutters, even though it generally ran at 40+ fps... Don't know why it dropped so much.

But, I did play through the game again, and man, even with how much I love the game, I forgot how awesome it was. I was worried, because for the first 2 hours, I was sort of bored, but once you get on the Citadel, it just takes off.

I have to say though, I absolutely forgot how terrible the save system was. My final play time was about 11 hours, but it had to be about 15 in reality. I can't count how many times I died, and got sent back 30 minutes because I forgot to quick save.

Also, I played as a woman for my carry over save, and honestly, it was better than my male save on the Xbox 360. It felt less generic, just because playing a space epic with a woman is far more novel. Also, the female voice actor is a little better.

Anyway, I would give my left nut to play Mass Effect 2 right now.

**EDIT**

Awesome, after spending 15 hours to beat the game, I just found out Microsoft Security Essentials was making it stutter... So the stuttering every 45 seconds could have been avoided... Fucking a.
