well heres my piece. its only me just messing around on GarageBand but this one is one of my most reworked pieces.

after listening to it again i don't really like the whole bass thing towards the end but i'd rather let other people listen to it

Thats pretty neat. The parts with drums though are a bit off sync.

Try practicing with loops or a metronome more.

no, its a cover, and yeah we used autotune because the original song uses autotune. Were gonna redo the vox, because they are very fuzzy and annoying.

Whats so bad about the mixing :( haha

Well, to start. Mixing takes a long time to grasp. It has been called closed to nothing but an art.

the problem was that there was clipping issues and bad balancing issues.


But you shouldn't really worry about it unless you plan to become a mixing engineer someday or something lol.

Just keep playing and put it out there.
but a tip. Keep vocals panned in the center, unless you are layering and want a stereo effect by having one vocal track in middle and 2 others, each panned to the right and left to your preference.

99% of people really can't tell the difference nor care about mixing.

When I listened they were panned left lol. And they are panned left after listening again
some microphones are mono(and the standard microphone jack is as well), and depending what you use to record it with. It can end up being recorded on the left channel only for some reason.

ah, then yeah that must be what happened, because we used an SM58 plugged directly through a line in jack on my laptop. Were gonna redo the vocals with the rock band mic later on

that is probably it.
the line jack on my computer years ago did the same thing. Only came out on left channel when recording in certain programs.


Edit: i was gonna ask if i could help fix some stuff. but i just remembered i just reformated windows so None of my Audio Programs and equpiment are installed anymore.
And it takes forever to do it all.

yeah its only a part time thing or when i have nothing better to do
