Any Monitors that are actually 2ms Response time Black to White and not Grey to Grey?

*Thread title is question*

I recently bought a 5ms Black to White 1600x900 20" monitor and the ghosting and motion blur is terrible.
I can't play any game with fast movement without it getting really blurry and killing my eyes. And normally I love motion blur Post Processing effects in games. But this is Monitor blur/ghosting and it actually is not very nice.

I hooked up my PS3 to it via HDMI to DVI and popped in a game to see how it would fare

Hm, i've looked at 120hz monitors. But most are just too expensive when i'm never gonna use the 120Hz mode for 3D.
Plus most are 1080p or at a 16:10 ratio which I don't want.

Arg, i'm in such a niche. I really don't want to go higher if I don't have to. :/

120Mhz isn't just for 3D... Have you seen anything on a 120Mhz screen? Absolutely gorgeous.

I don't notice ghosting on any IPS-based monitors. Could be that my eyes aren't sensitive enough.. but I do notice it on most TN ones.

I can personally recommend this monitor: http://www.lg.com/uk/it-products/monitors/LG-lcd-monitor-W2261V.jsp
I use it for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 and I never notice ghosting, plus it's pretty cheap :D

I was thinking about getting an LG monitor before I purchased this one since I have an LCD TV from them that I am very happy with.
And there was one that had a 1600x900 resoultion that was on NE for BF. I should go back and check reviews on it.

And X3
are there any IPS panels that aren't crazy expensive?

Sometimes really cheap deals pop up every now and then. This is the best price I can find for an IPS monitor right now, but it's only 21.5"

Yeah me too. I was expecting to be very annoyed when I got mine but I didn't notice any difference from my older TN panel. I think IPS panels have bad DELAY, not ghosting. I'm only affected by non-linear input lag (vSync) or noticeably high linear input lag.

I've found that your eyes adapt to ghosting in a couple of days. I played CS on a 40ms Acer 15" LCD for years and only noticed the ghosting (literally as extreme as the Windows Mouse Trails setting on that monitor) for a few days.
