apparantly trying to sync to computer deletes library on the computer?

Trigun

That guy, who Records Music.
Someone asked me for help, and they said basically when they try to connect to their computer itunes erases the library.

That kind of confused me , b/c isn't it usually Syncing it to a different computer erases the library on the ipod?

I'm no Ipod expert, I don't even own one. But I'd like to see what you guys think

I always delete the files off my PC after i've sync'd them to my iPod, and if i sync after, the files aren't on my PC so the iPod automatically deletes the files off of itself.

The way to get around this is to just turn off auto-sync and drag the files onto your iPod.

If your iPod uses a different library than what's on your comps iTUnes, it will erase the library off the iPod. What you can do, is use SharePod to get the music off the iPod, and put in the iTunes library.
