Jets are easy. Use the arrow keys to turn and always press 'S' to brake when turning. Basically roll left or right and then pull up to turn in that direction. Only use the HMG to attack other jets; the missiles area a waste of time. A single HMG burst about 1 or 2 inches in front will explode them instantly. Always lead by at least an inch while firing. The HMG bullets follow a different crosshair (4 lines with a dot) that moves around when you turn, NOT the fixed dot in the centre.
Helicopters are pretty much the same, but harder because you have to actively evade getting shot at by vehicles. Missiles land half a centimeter BELOW the crosshair. Learn how to fly behind low objects and hover to break a lock.

I thought the neutral vehicles roadkill was disabled since Battlefield 1942 since anyone accidentally exiting a moving vehicle usually ran over a teammate even if FF was off.
