Ok when I first downgraded my nephew's 2.71 TA-082 PSP I had a weird bug where the screen would go black with the power cord plugged in but the xmb was still running and when I unplugged the cord the screen came back on. No problem there I simply restored to default settings rebooted a couple times to be safe and my nephew's was then upgraded to and using 3.03 OE-C since. Today I decided to update all our PSP's to 3.10 OE-A' which worked flawlessly on my two non TA-082 PSP's but gave me the black screens again on the nephew's PSP. However their PSP worked fine and I simply repeated the process (without seeing the screen) and updated them from 3.03 OE-C to 3.10 OE-A'. The black screen's only occurred during the running of the update maker, custom firmware installer and the A' update not during normal xmb operation. However as I said it all worked fine still and their PSP is at 3.10 OE-A' now. I just wonder if you know what is causing this bug? Also I will be downgrading and upgrading a 2.71 TA-082 for a friend that recent purchased it soon. Will the OE Maker, OE Installer and OE A' update work without the power plugged in with a full battery? Or am I going to be stuck doing it from memory again?
Thanks for all the hard work and pleasure you've giving me, my family and all my friends with our PSP's,
