Bricked PSP - trying to unbrick with no luck

Hi Guys,
I really need your help... My PSP is bricked. I am trying to unbrick it with the TotalNewbie file. So when I insert my magic memory stick and my pandora battery the memorystick and wifi light come on and stay on - no boot from memory stick! :confused1:

What am i doing wrong? Please help.

Maybe you gotta format your memory stick into some kind of partition with a file named msipl.bin.

I used the TotalNewbie unbricker on my slim and the same thing happened, but it was meant to, you just press X and it installs cfw. Its to do with the display drivers on the slim psp being different with those of a phat psp(I think).
